Running an exam
An exam is an exercise you complete step by step in the Turbo Governance System, and a passing attempt records an attestation in your tenant.
Find the exam
Open Controls and choose a family. Under What to do, the family lists the exercises that cover it. A family that no exercise covers says so, and cannot be attested in the Turbo Governance System.
Take it
- Open the exercise and answer each step in order. Next and Previous move between steps.
- Choose Proceed to review. The review page shows every answer, and you can edit any of them.
- Choose Submit final report. For a graded exam, the result page shows how many questions you answered correctly, your score, the pass mark and the questions to review.
- If you did not pass, choose Try again. You can retake the exam, and every attempt is recorded.
Saved progress
The Turbo Governance System saves your answers to your tenant as you move between steps. If you leave and come back, it offers Resume or Start over. Start over deletes your saved answers, and there is no undo.
If the exam has changed since your progress was saved, the Turbo Governance System names the answers it dropped and restores the rest.
If saving fails, the Turbo Governance System tells you. Your answers stay on the page while it is open, and closing it loses that attempt's progress.
What gets recorded
Every submitted attempt, passed or not, is recorded in your tenant with its own PDF in your Evidence library. Only a passing attempt completes the exam.
The exam's page lists your attempts: when, the result and the evidence file.
An exam that sets its own pass mark uses it. An exam that sets none uses the default of 80 percent, and the result page says so.
What it does not do
- It does not prove who answered. Your browser grades the exam against an answer key it holds, which guards against casual alteration only.
- It does not certify you against a standard. A pass records that you completed the exercise.
